We are a couple travelling with our 15 year old son. We booked a room with 2 Queen/double beds and the room was very spacious. Our room had TV with hundreds of channels, a fridge, coffee making facilities, an en-suite bathroom and everything you would expect and need for a 5 night stay. Parking is right outside the property but we didn't have a car. We found the room extremely good value for the money and considering the location and time of year (height of summer). Within a short few minutes walk is a street with a choice of bars, restaurants and cafes, yet the hotel is quiet at night and you can not hear street noise. We loved the "Mel's Diner" next door and ate there 4 times! Also, a convenience shop/liquor store over the road for day to day needs. We used taxi's and public buses to get around SF and found the hotel was well located for other parts of the city. Buses stop outside the hotel on some routes, Lombard Street is a one minute walk and has even more buses and many more services operate within a 10 minute walk. From the hotel, we got buses to the Golden Gate bridge, Golden Gate Park, Chinatown and so on. We walked to Fishermans Wharf in approx 40 minutes. A taxi to North beach was $10 - $15 depending on time of day/night. Overall, we couldn't fault the location and preferred it to our previous visit to SF when we stayed in North Beach. Our room was cleaned to a high standard on a daily basis, which was especially nice after a long day sight seeing. We would definitely stay here again if we visited SF in future, which I hope we do.

The room is good but the parking lot can be a little tricky (few spots only and very tight). Breakfast is ok (coffee and some sweet food). The room was upstairs so we had to take all our bags up the stairs which was a little exhausting. The room at night was a little bit noisy but nothing that got much in our way. The staff was super friendly to us and gave us some very nice tips, especially on how to go around San Fran. That definitely made up for all the other little things we’ve encountered. The place is super good for a motel.

This inn was in a great location that perfectly suited my needs. The room had a fridge and microwave which is always appreciated. The staff was great and help to accommodate me with some baggage concerns I had with my check out time. They didn't have to do what they did, but they did and I appreciate it! And they were so nice about it! The location is also perfect as there are tons of places for food and shopping and only a 15 minute walk to the Marina Green.

The room was spacious, nicely renovated & had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Really liked the excellent lighting in the room and plenty of power points. On-site parking was a bonus as was the coffee, juice & pastry available in reception to start the day. The lovely lady in reception was so helpful & friendly, providing us with excellent advice. Location was handy for eateries, bars & access to attractions on foot or by bus. Really recommend it.

Good location: you can walk to main attractions (but be prepared that it takes some time;), Safeway grocery is also 15 min walk. Room was small but quite modern and cozy. Breakfast was actually not bad: oatmeals, coffee/juice, pastries - you definitely will not be totally hungry. Parking is "first come" principle, but we were lucky to get the last space on arrival day. Next 3 days I always could see 2-3 spare parking spaces. Reasonable price for SF
